1poundground ham
½ poundfreshly ground pork
¾cupmilk
2eggseggs
2TablespoonsSpicy Beer Mustard
1 cupPanko crumbs
⅔cupHot Pepper Jelly (Jalapeno)
⅓cupHot Pepper Jelly (for glaze)
3 Tablespoonsbrown sugar (for glaze)
2Tablespoons soy sauce (for glaze)
1 TablespoonSpicy Beer Mustard (for glaze)
Instructions
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Preheat over to 350 Degrees.Melt jelly in your microwave, less than 1 minute. Measure 2/3 cup. Save remaining jelly for the glaze.In medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly with your hands.Also by hand, form slightly larger than walnut-size balls because they shrink in the baking process.Place Smokey Ham Appetizers on Baking SheetBake approximately 20 minutes or until meat thermometer measures 160 Degrees.While the appetizers are baking, combine the following ingredients:1/3 cup Jalapeno Jelly3 Tablespoons brown sugar2 Tablespoons soy sauce1 Tablespoon Spicy Beer MustardStir and heat to combine ingredients and dissolve the brown sugar. With care, use the micro-save or hear on a stove burner to a simmer.While the Smokey Ham Appetizers are hot, paint each with the glaze. Cool and cover tightly to refrigerate or freeze.Serve at room temperature or slightly warm.
