Tom Lanaham, a Nebraska wood crafter designed and shaped the polished oak  stand. The wood is parted from fallen 50 to 60-year-old black oak and burr oak trees, then air dried for several years before slicing into slabs and kiln drying. Each piece is unique in coloration. Knots and worm holes add interest and appeal.   

The oak candle stand is approximately 7x 6 x1 ½ inches although the nature, coloration and size of each stand differs slightly due to unique cut of the wood. The candle is 4 inches wide and 3 ½ inches high.
